PetsAffair '10-An event to Support Rescue & Placement of Racing GreyhoundsPosted on: 2010-08-05REGAP of CT, Inc. will hold its Third Annual PETSAFFAIR on Saturday, September 25, 2010 (Rain Date: Sunday, September 26th) from 10:00am – 4:00pm at 105 Fairwood Road in Bethany, CT.
REGAP of CT, Inc. (Retired Greyhounds as Pets of Connecticut, Inc.) is a non-profit organization devoted to educating the public about the joys of greyhounds as companion animals and finding responsible, caring homes for as many retired racing greyhounds as possible.

Come and meet recently rescued greyhounds as well as greyhounds already placed in homes! Eileen pioneered greyhound rescue. In 1973, greyhounds were routinely destroyed because there were no greyhound rescue groups yet in existence. Eileen formed REGAP of CT and established this nation's first matching funds greyhound retirement home. Since 1973, Eileen has rescued over 5,000 greyhounds, one at a time.
Aida Krgin of Krgin Photography, a REGAP friend and supporter, will also be on hand to take photographs with you, your family and your pets.
This year’s event will include a Silent Auction, Tag Sale, Dog Contests, 50/50 Raffle, Greyhound Meet and Greets, Cook-out, Bake Sale – Canine & Human, and MUCH, MUCH MORE.
